Another successful solo mission! Once again New York made my heart melt! What a better way to spend Valentine's weekend than in my favorite city? Especially with a view like this! I definitely needed to get out of the Orange County bubble especially while being single during this holiday! I don't want to get into too much detail at the moment but let's just say that I'm crushing on someone and the feeling is not mutual at all! 😭 .
Changing my surroundings this weekend really helped me realize that there are plenty of people out there from all different walks of life. If I continue to travel at the pace that I am doing right now, I more than likely will meet someone incredible who is a perfect match for myself. A woman that actually wants to know me and someone that will let down their guard for me. 💕
At this point in my life, I am not going to let myself be the one that continues to reach out to others first. I have learned that relationships as well as friendships need to be more equal. I have let go of friendships that no longer serve a purpose for myself. Cutting ties with these people have been a weight lifted off of my shoulders! I am feeling more free and more alive than ever. And I'm so lucky to have met some pretty cool people while solo traveling. I even have plans to meet up with a couple of new buddies on my next upcoming adventure through Europe. Stay tuned for more epic adventures as well as some spur of the moment getaways!
